After Star and Raina returned to the cabin Erik showed them the empty room. Star hung back, only peeking in the doorway and going to sit by the fireplace with Wolf. She busied herself with a box of clothes that Alise had given her, taking everything out and looking at it, overjoyed to get some new things.

Raina smiles and whispers to Erik, “I think I should try to take her shopping with me. She is like a little kid with new toys...”

Star pulls out a pair of jeans with some flowers embroidered on the hem and pockets. She almost squeals in her excitement. “Raina! Look!” And she points to the designs.. Then she pulls out a pink top that matches and smiles, “Its like my coat...”

Erik gives a Raina a questioning look and she responds, “Alise has tons of stuff. Ike loves to shop and brings her things all the time. She said most of what she gave Star is too small for her and Star is the only person she knows that is smaller than she is. Anyway, go. Let me check out this room since you are done and see what I can do...”

Raina grabbed her bag with her supplies, sage and sweetgrass and a few other things. She spent some time in the room, making sure every inch was gone over and she couldnt sense anything remotely bad.

When Raina came out of the bedroom, Star was trying on clothes and Erik was watching appreciatively. Raina watched for a few minutes and started to laugh, “Star! No underwear?? No wonder Erik is glued to the fashion show..” Erik makes a playful grab for Raina who easily darts out of the way. “Gotta be faster than that, brother.”

“I think the room should be fine. I didnt really feel much in there since you took everything out.” Raina sits next to Erik, but Star moves to the kitchen, still not wanting to hear about the bedroom.

“I bet if we fixed it up some, a fresh coat of paint, a bed with no posts, maybe you could put in a window that overlooks her garden, she would warm up to it. It wont be anything like it was before and you are here now...”
