I have to give Keon credit; once the place has been checked out, the Sidhe lord works just as hard as I do, hauling the stuff outside to a large cleared area behind the cabin. The Hound is strong as a bull; we rig up an improvised travois and he hauls it to the clearing. We're done in about twenty minutes as opposed to the half to three-quarters of an hour I expected.

Once everything is piled up in a tight pile, Keon lights up Star's sketches and uses them to light the pyre. It goes up with a whoosh, as though soaked with gasoline.

We monitor the blaze for hours till there's nothing left but ash; then we soak it thoroughly with water. When it's completely cold, I turn to go back into the cabin, and Keon and the Hound go off - presumably to begin their Hunt.
