Traeger and Pandora approach the altar and Traeger lays the rings down in sight of Rowan,then together they turn to present Alise with her gifts...
Traeger says "Alise, with his tears Stoney created these gems, and his wedding gift to you are these earrings"... Pandora helps Alise put them on... "and this is my gift to you," and Pandora holds up the matching necklace; ignoring the tears welling in Alise's eyes as she fastens it about her neck. They both hug the couple and return to the altar.
Traeger sets out a rose colored candle... Pandora lights it and together they envision the circle of white light around themselves and the altar ....
Next they turn together to the North, Pandora holding a rose candle while Traeger lights it reciting...
"Hail to the guardians of the North, mighty earth who feeds us, our home and mother, welcome to the circle."
Next they turn together to the East, Pandora holding a rose candle while Traeger lights it reciting...
"Hail to the guardians of the East, blessed air who cools us, the breath of life in all, welcome to the circle."
Next they turn together to the South, Pandora holding a rose candle while Traeger lights it reciting...
"Hail to the guardians of the South, sacred flame that sparks life in all, our protection and father, welcome to the circle."
Next they turn together to the West, Pandora holding a rose candle while Traeger lights it reciting...
"Hail to the guardians of the West, Waters of life, where all are cleansed and reborn, welcome to the circle."
Traeger and Pandora return to the altar and bring forth a red candle,which they light, and together they recite...
"We call upon you in the guise of Eros,
Kindler of desire,
Bringer of love,
to join us here and witness the bonding
of Stoney and Alise."
We call upon you in the guise of Aphrodite,
Always desirous one,
Sensual lover,
to join us here and witness the joining
of Stoney and Alise."
Traeger turns and says "the circle is now closed, all within it bask in the love of the Gods; let the handfasting begin"....
