Ob stops listening to the plans being made to protect the tavern. He feels Ike touch his mind, Tori as well. Stoney is beyond reason, his rage out of control. They are just about to intervene when Alise' soft voice touches his mind, tugging at his attention. He turns his thoughts to Alise, feeling every pain on her body, ignoring his own. The sibs send up a joint prayer to the Goddess for the couple.
Ob breathes deep. He tells the crowd, "Alise is in our hands. Stoney will be taking her home. Both are injured. But be vigilant. It isn't over yet. Jean-Marc and many of his people are still loose."
He looks at his sisters. "Byron hasn't been caught yet, either." A thought strikes him. "Has anyone sealed up the bathroom window?"
