Alise's eyes widen, “I had forgotten that. But I am not big enough to have more than one baby in here.” and she laughs, tapping her tummy. “I dont think we have to worry about that.” She wraps her arms around Stoneys neck, “Je taime Re'mi, je taime. We maybe should go show this to Rowan. She is going to wonder what we are doing in here that takes so long...”

Alise goes back to her spot by the fireplace and Stoney hands the stick to Rowan.

Rowan smiles, “I thought so. Now we have to work on getting you to eat again. And we have some other things to talk about but that can wait until tomorrow. Right now I need to speak to Mortuis, and I am sure you two need a little time alone. I know its a lot to take in. I'll be back in an hour or so. You can throw that stick away...” and she leans down and whispers to Alise, “I am sure there are other sticks to play with.”

Rowan runs into Raina as she closes the cottage door behind her. “Hey! Can you do me a favor? I think they really need some time alone, can you find something to do for about an hour? I am going up to the manse.”

Raina sees Nick coming up the path towards them and smiles, “Sure, not a problem. I think I can keep him busy as well.”
