Alise starts to stir when she feels Stoneys anger. She opens her eyes and looks around. The room is barely lit, the sun just rising. Rainas panther lays next to her, filling the space that Stoney had to vacate a short time ago. She scratches the panthers ears and kisses her on the nose. The cat opens one green eye and starts to purr loudly.

Alise can feel Stoney and Ike talking and Ob....sort of watching, waiting...

Lifting up on one arm Alise looks at Stoney. What is wrong? And do not tell me to go back to sleep Chiot.

Stoney sighs and sends Alise the message that Ike relayed to him.

Tears gather in Alises eyes, That poor girl, how horrible. Is there nothing we can do? Since she is a shifter is there a healer or someone to care for her since she cannot go to the hospital?

Alise lays down again and wraps her arms around the panther, That bastard Jean-Marc. Why is he doing this?

Stoney blocks his thoughts from Alise but sends Ob a message, Bro, what should I do? She is more concerned about a girl she does not know than her own safety....does she not realize Jean-Marc will be after her the first chance he gets?
