Ob kisses Pandora's ear gently. "You are so far away, Bruha. What are you thinking about?"
She doesn't answer, just smiles, as the Riders tell even taller tales. Ob excuses them from the table and pulls her out on the dance floor. Stoney touches his mind, letting him know they are going to leave soon. There is a slight distance in the touch, but Ob puts it down to Stoney wanting to get Alise somewhere private.
The song ends and Ob escorts Pandora back to the table. She still seems so far away in her thoughts. He leans close and whispers in her ear. "Mujer, must I change to dragon to see what is going on in that wicked mind of yours?"
