When the music is over Laila rejoins Star and Alise who are standing by the table. Laila glances over her shoulder to see if Rath is watching but his attention seems to be focused on the almost naked breasts of his date.

Looking from Tomas to Tara, Alise says, “I should get my children to bed. They both look tired.”

Tomas lifts his head from its resting spot on Lailas shoulder and rubs his eyes.

Running a hand gently through Tomas' hair Laila tells him, “Thank you for the dance Tomas.”

The little boy smiles and suddenly gives Laila a wet sloppy kiss to one side of her mouth. She laughs and hugs him.

“And for my first kiss from a boy.” She kisses his forehead, tells him goodnight and hands him back to Alise.

Gunnaars eyes had gone wide when what Laila said sunk in. “Never been kissed? How can that be?”
