Raina and Ky entered the tavern laughing and talking. Gareth and Nick are right behind, smiling at each other at the girls chatter. Raina waves at Monty as she passes the bar and pulls out a chair next to her brother.
“Hey! What are you guys looking at? The band or what?”
Star smiles and motions her head towards the couples on the dance floor. “Look.... Laila is dancing with Ramji.”
Both Raina and Ky lean forward and look. Raina laughs, “Looks like he wants to do more than dance to me.”
“Raina! No...” and Star explains that Laila has never even been kissed, “Except by Tomas...”
“Tomas? Alise's Tomas? But he is only... well... not quite a year old.... I'm confused...”
Alise starts to laugh and scoots her chair closer to Raina and Ky so that she can explain what Laila has told them about herself and how Tomas thinks she is very pretty.
Smiling Alise says, “I am afraid Tomas is going to be quite the ladies man...
“That should make his papa happy...” Rainas comment earning her a playful slap from Alise.
Stoney had approached from behind Alise and leaning in to kiss the top of her head adds, “Actually, it does make me happy, and very proud of my son...”
Alise turns and swats at her husband as everyone laughs and teases. You just wait Chiot... paybacks...
Then I hope this night passes quickly and your payback involves no clothing....
Alise blushes and Raina laughs harder. “What did he say?”
“Nothing I am telling you. You will tease me to death.”
