Raina smiles and leans her head towards the stairs... she whispers, knowing that Nick with his keen hearing will pick up her words... ”Her and Gunnaar...”
Raina gives Nick a level stare. "So what do you think might be responsible? A vampire?"
Before he can reply, Rath approaches the table and all Raina can feel is hate. Her head snaps up and looks around. He eyes land on Laila, head downcast, but cheeks flaming and her eyes narrowed and angry at the intentional humiliation. Raina watches Rath leave and Laila starts to relax again.
“You were saying, Nick?”
