Ob opens to Tori's touch. He is laughing, but sobers at the distraught feel of her touch. He kisses the top of Pandora's ear, whispering, "I am about to drop a downer on the party."

Stoney catches his eye as Ike stops one of the waitresses. The girl heads for the bar, speaking to Patti. She takes Patti's place and she heads to Jack's table. He rises and the two of them leave. Ike heads for the stairs and soon returns with the nanny.

Guunnar's phone rings and after a puzzled look at the number, answers. "Torrent?" Tears fill the big man's eyes. "Ve vill be dere."

His eyes meet Ob's. He rises and heads for the stairs. Tapping on the door to the Widow's Walk, he pokes his shaggy head around the frame. "I don't mean to intterupt. Ja... Actually I do. Ve must go see Frau Grace now if ve vant to say auf weidersehn..."

Ob pulls Pandora and Chloe close. "Mi amorati... It is Graces' time. We need to go now. Herne is giving her time to say adios to everyone. I just need to call mi cooza..."

He kisses Pandora and steps away, talking quietly into his phone. "Cooza... Herne has come for Grace. Can you and Mortuis..."


Keon races his stallion through the Shadow Paths. The streak in his hair seems to be urging him home. The Fae messenger had told him the Herne would be waiting at Graces' home. That, and the tug on his blue streak, told him to hurry.
