Erik smiles as he enters the room he shares with Star and Mera. Star has things only half packed and is sitting near the window humming to Mera and kissing the little fingers whenever an arm reaches close enough.

“I talked to Rowan and she said Raina can go later tonight. She has Nick and Gareth to help her so I guess we can go home.”

Star looks up and smiles, her eyes turning bright blue with happiness. “Did you talk to Keon?”

“Yes, he said it was fine to take Mera there and that he would be by to see her soon.” Erik didnt tell her that Keon had said he wanted to discuss something important. He had a pretty good idea of what it was and didnt want to get Stars hopes up in case he was wrong.

The jeep was quickly packed and goodbyes said. Alise and Star making plans to visit since it was a short walk through the woods to each others home. Erik spoke briefly to Ob and Stoney about fixing the stables and thanked Mortuis for his hospitality.

Mya flitted down from the door sill and landed on Meras tummy. “Mya go with baby. Mya help Star...”

Raina has hobbled down the stairs and gives Star a hug. “I am sending Panther with you. She needs to run and she has been chasing the sylphs. I'll come and get her in a day or two if thats all right...”

K'thyri smiles as the jeeps pulls away and heads for home. The sight of Erik and Star in front, Mera in a car seat surrounded by the wolves with tiger and panther following close makes her laugh. “That little one will not fear a thing as she grows.”
