I didn't waken till the sun was high overhead, the heat of it beating on my face woke me... and I rose and stretched. Making my usual cirlce round Ob with my hand carressing him, I ended with a kiss to his face and went to shower. When I descended the stairs the room was so clean and shiny you would never know a battle had been fought inside this room.. .I was grateful for Mortuis' cleanup friends, and the extra efforts of Patti and Monty this morning. Monty was helping Patti get ready for later, stopping occasionally to stroke Ike's face and whisper into her ear.

My dad walked in, yawning himself... and we sat at the bar drinking stout coffee and some of Patti's eggs over easy. "How are you feeling today dad?"... Traeger laughed and said..."Much better than when I hit the sheets early this morning...I can see things look normal here, how are Alise and Ike faring?"

I replied.."Ike still sleeps till evening, but for a gargoyle that is the best recueprative medicine... Alise is feeling pretty rough, I called and Mortuis has brought a lady healer to help... her name is Rowan. If Stoney trusts her ,she is good."
