"Gareth, do you mind? I'd like to talk to Nick some more."

I grin. "And kiss him some more? Sure, that's no problem. Where are they?"

"Over there, by the florist shop."

I half-dance, half-walk K'thyri through the crowd to where Raina is catching her breath - Nick, of course, having none to catch. "Switch!," I cry as I practically hurl Ky into Nick's arms and dance away again with Raina. Raina loses it at the look on Nick's face - first bafflement, then delight - and I have to pull her to one side to let her catch her breath again.

"What was that all about?"

"Oh, Ky just wants to talk to Nick some more," I say innocently, "and no time like the present."

"That's an - interesting - dance step," she says, straight-faced. I look back and then grin. Ky has raised one leg to hip height and it's all but wrapped around Nick's. There's an awful lot of thigh showing… it's just as well Ky isn't shy….

"You shouldn't be watching that," I say primly and then I kiss her passionately, sucking and nipping at her lips, our tongues dancing. She presses tight against me and devours my mouth. "Gods, I've missed you… not that it's not fun with Nick, but…"

"I know what you mean," I say breathlessly. "Ky is an amazing lover, but I miss being with you, and with Nick - and with you both together."

She grins lasciviously. "Well, maybe she'll want to spend the night with Nick tonight."

"I rather doubt that," I say seriously. "Nick is trying really hard to be less forbidding, but I don't think Ky's ready to share a bed with him just yet. It does seem to be a bit more relaxed between them, though, doesn't it?"

Raina risks a quick look. Nick and Ky are sitting at a small table, smiling and chatting. Ky might be a little tipsy… hard to tell from this distance….

Raina nips playfully at my ear and I moan quietly. "Dammit, Gareth, I want to slip away from here and ravish you to within an inch of your life. You know someplace we can go?"

"Just follow my lead…."

I dance her out to the far end of the street and as we reach the sawhorses that are blocking it off, I open a temporary Gate. We step through into a sun-drenched forest in Faerie, a part of my home there. I lead her to a shady spot under a gigantic oak and sit down with her beneath it.

"Now… I believe you said something about ravishing me…?" and I reach to untie her halter….
