Star left the bar where she had been talking to Monty and took a seat next to Erik. He pulls her close and asks, “How are you feeling Princess? We can go if you are tired...”

She shakes her head, “I'm all right. Monty is making me something to eat.”

Rowan comes over and talks to the couple for a few minutes, making sure Star is taking care of herself and setting up a time for her to come to her place for a checkup. Star tries to wheedle out of it but Erik wont let her, assuring Rowan he would have her there at the appointed day and time.

When Monty brings Stars plate to the table Guunnar turns and wrinkles up his nose. “Vhat in hel is dat? It stinks like goat....” He chokes back the words when he sees Monty place the food in front of Star and she smiles and thanks him.

He sits across the table from Star and says, “Little sister, vhat is dat? Are you really going to eat it?”

Smiling Star dips her fork in the concoction on her plate and takes a big bite. “Mmmm....Monty, its perfect. Thank you.” She turns to Guunnar and tells him, “Its green beans, sprouts, pearl onions and mushrooms with goat cheese on top. Its delicious...” and she takes another bite.

Guunnars eyes go round and he looks to Erik, “Does she eat like dat all de time?”

Erik shrugs and nods, “You get used to it.”

Right then Raina sits down next to Star, “What smells so good? Give me a bite...” Star obliges with a laugh and Raina waves at Monty, “Can I have some of this? Please..”

Suddenly Guunnar starts commenting in Norse, waving his arms and shaking his head. He goes to the bar and talks to Patti while Erik and Raina are laughing out loud and Star looks confused.

“What did he say? What is so funny?”

Raina cant stop the giggles so Erik attempts to translate. “He said the smell would probably carry to Valhalla and if it does the gods themselves are surely gagging.”

“Its not that bad..” Star joins in Rainas giggles... “Well, maybe it is. But it tastes good..”

When Monty brings Raina's plate he has a tray in his hand. Setting it down on the table he tells Star, “Dont be angry with him. He asked me to bring you a couple of things... in case you get tired of your vegetables... his words, not mine.”

Monty gives Raina her plate and then sets a large pitcher of iced apple juice between them. A small loaf of homemade bread just out of the oven almost covers the smell of the goat cheese. Lastly he sets a dish of berries in front of each of the women. Raspberries and blackberries, Star's favorites.

Guunnar returns to the table, “Ist that all right? I'm not shoving at Little Sister...”

Star nods “Its perfect...thank you..”

Right then K'thyri sits next to Guunar. “Hi! Whats that smell? I'm starving, is there more of that? It looks great...”

Guunnar excuses himself then walks away muttering while Star, Erik and Raina laugh themselves silly.

Ky looks perplexed. “What did I say?”
