I'm not here professionally, in either sense. Grace has already made arrangements for her body, and if Herne can't insure safe passage to the other side, then there's nothing I can do.

No, this is more along the line of "hail and farewell" - or should that be "farewell and hail"? Whatever….

I watch Grace with the children, glowing like I've never seen her before. It's temporary at best, a candle that flares its brightest before burning out - but ah my foes, and oh, my friends, it gives a lovely light! I give ghost-Tara and Cassie a smile and a wave and then move to stand by Grace's chair. She looks up and smiles.

"Hi, gorgeous." I give her a smile, one that I can really mean. "Just dropped by to say hello and goodbye and hello again."

Grace chuckles. "I've been learning some things about you, Jack. I do hope you'll still be around when my time comes round again."

I can't stop smiling. "Count on it." I lean over and kiss her and then step back to give the others room. "See you soon, Grace."
