Tannr pauses on the deck on the front of the cabin after his run. Leaning his elbows on the rail and dipping his head he cautiously scans the woods in front of him. Tiger approaches and Tannr whispers to the big cat, Go to Star, stay with her.... He had noticed a light on in the stables and figured it was her, spending some time with her horse.
Trooper separates himself from the shadows and moves across the yard, picking a spot between the woods and stables to stretch out and blend with the darkness there.
Erik comes out and his words catch in his throat as Tannr does not look up but makes a shhhh noise. He joins his brother at the rail and quietly asks, “What is it?”
“Star? Stables?”
Erik nods.
“Keon?”
“Patrol” Erik answers.
“Mera?”
“Sleeping... in the living room, with Mya” Erik starts to worry at Tannrs wanting to know where all the family is at.
“Can you go out the back door and bring Star in? And cover her hair... I'll be inside in a few minutes...”
