Alise and Stoney are discussing how late its getting and that he and Tori will soon need to find a place to rest.

She nods, “I know, Chiot. I want to stay here if you dont mind. Gracie loves being near Mera and I want to see Star as soon as Rowan says its all right....”

Her thoughts are interrupted by the sight of Inari, who motions for Mortuis to wait as she pauses in the doorway.

Pike grins at seeing Inari, as if his words brought her directly to him, “That was quick...”

“Imp.” Inari says as she passes him and ruffles his hair. “Deliver your vial to the healer, I will be right there..”

Alise watches as Inari squats in front of Erik and takes his hand. After just a few moments Eriks face loses a bit of the hopelessness he was feeling. His eyes clear and he nods his head at Inaris words. As she stands he thanks her. Her hand reaches out and gently touches the side of Eriks face.

“All that can be done, will be. I will see to it.” and she turns and hurries after Mortuis.

“Mon Dieu, Chiot. How does she do that? Raina says she is a wonder to behold on the battlefield...” Alise looks after the small retreating figure.

Stoney nods, “Ob has told me some of what he had seen in the Unformed Plane. It is a gift she has, knowing what words to comfort and instill hope and courage to her comrades.....Much like our Joan d'Arc, I think.”

Alise nods and settles on the floor with the little ones to wait for Lailas return.
