Erik is sitting in the library, waiting for word from Rowan. Raina is pacing, about to wear a hole in the carpet. Tori arrived a few minutes earlier, bringing a change of clothes for his brother, who was now cradling a sleeping Gracie.
Tori sees Tannr, standing arms crossed and gazing out a window at the night. She moves silently towards him, then rests her hands on his arms.
“Hey... Are you doing okay?” she asks. Her voice just above a whisper.
Tannr moves his gaze from the window to the woman standing in front if him. He glances over to Stoney and thinks What the hell, I guess he can toss me off a cliff later if he wants... and he pulls Tori into his arms.
“Thanks Red... thanks for being here...”
Tori simply nods, returning the warm embrace.
Stoney raises an eyebrow, then nuzzles Gracie. Your Tante Tori has a soft spot after all....
