Mya raced from the window to where Star was sitting on the floor, adding a pink ribbon to the packages she was wrapping.

“Hurry! Erik come! Keon come!” Mya landed on the roll of ribbon and tumbled off as Star pulled one last long piece of curling ribbon to add to her present.

The past few weeks had passed quickly. Star had healed quickly with no problems. Ruarc had grown and was a happy, easy baby to care for. Rowan had removed the cast from Myas arm with no end to the drama from Mya. “Dont cut arm, pleeeeaase... dont cut arm..” Rowan had struggled not to laugh at the little fairy's antics and the cast came off without so much as a nick to Myas arm.

Star had been busy making plans for Ru's naming day. Erik had wrinkled his nose at first when she told him she wanted everyone in traditional dress for the ceremony, but once she explained he agreed. Inari was accompanying her queen and Keon felt that Mab would attend also. Star really wanted to do this the right way, for Ruarc.

Alise reassured Star that Montenegro would play for the party and Pan was more than happy to have Ru in the nursery with the other children.

When Erik and Keon entered the cabin Mya flitted right in front of them, “This way, please. Star has surprise..."

Keon and Erik follow Mya into the living room. Ruarc is sitting in a bouncy chair happily watching Mera play with some blocks next to him.

“What is it Princess?” Erik asks as he takes a seat in a chair near his son.

With a grin Star hands Erik, then Keon a wrapped package. “I didnt mean for this to be on Valentines Day. It just worked out that way..”

Star sat on the floor with the little ones and Wolf and Lobo, who was never far from Ruarcs side. She watched as the men opened their gifts and hoped they liked what she had drawn.

Eriks picture was of himself and Ruarc, only days old, cradled in his fathers hands. Star had perfectly captured the look of wonder on Eriks face as he cradled his newborns tiny head in his large hands. There was little else in the drawing, Star wanting the two she loved so much to be the focus of the portrait.

Keons picture had a bit more background in it. Star had drawn him sitting in the window sill at the Manse, Mera sitting in his lap. They were looking out the window at the fairy lights spread out across the woods. You had to look closely but one of the lights was blue tinged and had a bit more shape to it. Mera saw it immediately and clapped her small hands together, then pointed, “Mama!”

“Ddd..do you like the pictures?” Star asked, worried since both men had fallen silent.
