On his way out of the cabin Erik grabs a dark blanket. He tries to make his way to the stables without running, but Tannrs attitude makes him want to fly. As he enters the stable he hears Star, talking softly to her horse, he sees Pike head for the rafters and Wish moves a bit into the shadows but doesnt leave.

“Star... Princess... we need to talk...”

Star turns quickly at the sound of worry in her husbands voice. “Whats ww..wrong?”

Eriks heart cracks a little at the sound of her stuttering. She hasnt done that in months and only when she's really scared...

"Tannr wants me to get you into the house. He has seen something in the woods. I dont know what yet. Put this over your head and I'll turn the lights out."

Star quickly puts the brush away and locks the stall door. She pulls the blanket over her head and Wish helps her tuck her hair under. She nods at Erik when she is ready and he switches the light off and takes her small hand in his.

“Tannr is watching the front of the house. Can you two watch back here so I can get Star safely into the house?” Erik knows Pike is listening from above.

Wish nods and Pike drops down from the rafters and in the blink of an eye the pair has disappeared, melting into the darkness.

“Okay Princess. Just walk with me. I'll be on one side and Tiger on the other. Nothings going to happen, we'll keep you safe..” Erik opens the stable door and steps out, Stars hand still in his.

Halfway across the yard he hears Stars strangled "Mera!", and holds onto Star tightly so she doesnt run the rest of the way.

“She's fine sweetheart. Mya is with her. Lets just make this look like we arent worried about a thing....”

When they finally reach the back door, Erik lets out the breath that he feels like he has been holding forever and Star darts into the living room, scooping Mera up in her arms. She turns and reaches for a light switch when Tannr comes in the front door, locking it behind him.

“Leave it off for now. We can see better outside if the light in here is dim.”

Stars hand slowly falls to her side. “Ww..whats gg...going on?”

Tannr can only stare at the sight of her in front of him. Stars eyes were changing colors, her hair silver in the dim light and her hand resting on a very pregnant belly. Then he noticed the scars on her upper arms. The crescent moons... The words of the prophecy that he had heard so long ago nag at him and he wishes he could remember the whole thing.

Tannr looks from Star to Erik and back to Star. “Do you know who the Drow are?”

Star nods her head, “The evil blue ones. My mother told me to stay away from them.”

Eriks eyes open wide, “You never told me that you knew anything about them...”

Star shrugs, “I dont know much of anything and I havent thought about it since.. well... before I started talking again...”

Now its Tannrs turn to open his eyes wide in surprise, “What does that mean? Before you started talking again?”

“I... I didnt talk...”

“At all?”

“No... not until I met Erik. He helped me... I wanted to see Wolf...” Stars words fade at the look of wonder on Tannrs face.

Tannr watches her eyes change colors and some of the words of the prophecy come back to him...
