Pandora can feel that the baby is strong and well; but she senses that Star is still in danger... she turns to leave the room and runs into a silent Obsidian... he had been watching her, and now slips an arm around her and leads her past the nursery full of babbling children and down the stairs to the tavern.
"I have news Bruha, but not for the babes ears,"... he whispers to her. Pandora looks at him with a stricken face; "Star is in bad shape, she could slip away from us if the extraordinary measures the Fae are trying don't work." Pandora began to cry,and Ob drew her tight against his chest... "Its in the hands of the gods, we can only be there for those that need us."
Pandora looks up and whispers "Star has been through so much, she deserves this happily ever after"... Ob nods and says "She's strong Pandora, if anyone can beat the odds its Star... she is the chosen one's mother. Now wipe those tears and concentrate on that positive energy of yours, you are all playing a part in her recovery."
Pandora knew what he said was true... and she was suddenly aware that Chloe and the others were picking up her distress, she needed to veil her fear for Star. Reaching up she drew Ob's head down and kissed him... his strength filling her and she drew back with a small sigh; "You can always steady me."
Monty arrived with a hot chocolate orange coffee drink, and Ob drew her down to sit... its fragrance made her smile... and she was back on track again....
