Pandora and Ob are smiling at the look of delight on Chloe's face. She made it farther off Alise's lap than Pandora had ever seen her do alone... she had a little knot in her stomach again at the thought of Chloe flying beyond her reach. Chloe caught the thought and said "I fly high in the rafters with Abby"... she refered to her dragon; unable to wrap her tongue yet around "Absinthe".

Pandora prayed she was wrong on that for awhile... and she and Alise began discussing the trip planned for the morrow to take the children to greet their new sibling.Tomas was already busy talking about boy things, totally oblivious to his cousin being but a day old.

Pandora explained that Tori took the cradle; but they were fast asleep in the bed and had yet to discover the masterpiece of craftsmanship that Traeger and his young assistants had created for the warrior king... morning was going to be a moment of discovery in many ways when they were all refreshed. Pandora and Alise were taking the children during the day to see Ruarc; for they could not contain themselves till their fathers came that night. Ob and Stoney would follow them through the thoughts their wives would convey back to them.

After much hugging and talking they hustled the children downstairs to eat at the family table, anxious to see them settled for the night; for tomorrow would be a busy day. Ob and Stoney visited round the room with the relieved regulars in the tavern, and talked with the warriors in for dinner from their rounds... and found that the evening had been calm so far... no ghouls in sight.

Pandora longed for the time when she could go upstairs with Ob to their room... his hot embrace earlier had never left her mind. The sense of relief that all was well left her mind open to things in her own life... and foremost in them tonight was making love with her husband. Ob caught her thoughts; for she felt a caress along her hip... the plunge of a hand between her thighs... looking up, she met his gaze across the room... and there was fire in the depths of his eyes... promises for later that made her blush....
