Rowan enters the library and looks around. Raina is casting runes and Tannr seems to be enthralled with whatever she is telling him. Alise and Stoney are sitting in front of the fire with their youngest, looking at a book of pictures from Paris and reminiscing. Then she sees Keon, standing near a window, holding Mera so that she can see the fairy lights.

Her thoughts go to the next room where she left Star nursing her son. Star had demanded that the IV be removed and all the machines. Rowan was mildly concerned but thought she could get the sylphs or whoever did the cooking to make something the girl would eat. Otherwise she was going to call Monty and see if he could come over when the tavern closed for the night.

Walking to the window, she gently touches Keons arm to get his attention. She says quietly, “Star is awake, and asking to see Mera. Can you take her...?”

Smiling Keon turns, “Oh aye... of course I will...” and he disappears from the room.

Laila looks up from her sewing and notices Keons hasty exit. “Rowan, is something wrong?”

“No, nothing is wrong. Star is awake..” Rowan jumps at the sound of Lailas happy squeal then laughs at the girls exuberance.

Alise stands and asks, “When can we see her? Has she seen her son?”

Moving towards the fireplace Rowan says, “She is feeding him now. She asked to see Mera, so lets give them some family time together. Then you can all visit, for a short time though. I imagine she is going to be very tired..."

Raina is grinning from ear to ear and says to Tannr. “Better call Tori and tell her to hurry up with that cradle.” They both laugh, relieved at the news and happy for their brother.

Alise sends to Stoney, Chiot, let your brother know, and they can tell the children about the little one now. I am going to look for Mortuis so we can tell him the news and thank him for all he has done.

As she excuses herself and leaves the room Alise can feel Stoneys caress and his thoughts, Just wait until we can be alone... Alise is smiling as she heads downstairs...
