Laila twirls in her new sundress and laughs happily. The small blue flowers matched her shawl and the green in the stems and flowers made her hazel eyes take on a greenish hue. It was a bit too long, almost reaching the floor but Laila didnt mind.
She looks at Ramji, “What do you think?
He takes a deep breath, struggling for control. He pulls her close and wraps his arms around her. He notices that Rowan is busy cleaning up, Star and Thea re-folding the clothes. He lowers his head and whispers in her ear, “If we were alone I would show you what I think...”
Laila leans back in his arms and looks into his dark eyes. Her finger slowly traces one of his tattoos, and a smile plays at the corners of her mouth.
“We could stay here for the night. That way you can spend as much time as possible with your sister.” Ramji tips her chin up and gives her a light kiss.
“Will you stay with me?” Laila whispers and at Ramjis nod a smile breaks out. “Then I want to....”
