Inari turns when she hears the stream of Elvish swearing. She knows its Ky, no one else cusses with quite the same finesse. She sighs and moves towards her table, keeping her in sight. Ky's face is red, her eyes narrowed and Inari recognizes the signs of frustration and anger that could lead to trouble.

She approaches the pair quietly but Nick hears her and turns slightly, saying hello.

“You can have a seat...” Inari says quietly to Nick, who raises an eyebrow in response.

“Nicholas... please...” and Inari gestures to a chair.

Nick sits slowly wondering how Inari is going to calm down an enraged Wyldfae.

“Good. Now I can talk to...” Ky's words are interrupted by Inari, standing in Nicks spot, hands on hips, shaking her head.

“You arent going anywhere. Now sit.” Inaris voice is quiet but firm.

“No! I cant. I have sworn...”

“I know that. I also know that you will of no use to anyone if you cause more damage to that ankle.” Inari speaks quietly but firmly.

Ky continues to argue, not giving up but she gradually stops yelling.

Inari has not moved and finally asks, “ Are you finished? Because if you arent we need to take this outside.”

Nick is surprised to see Ky's head dip and she doesnt utter another word. She sits hard, grimacing at the pain in her ankle and is close to tears.

Inari leans close. “I know you have sworn, and I know you are frustrated. I will get Rowan, Erik and Star and we will discuss this. You have other talents besides fighting. Stay there. I will be back in a few moments.”

Inari heads towards Erik and Star and waves for Rowan to join them.

Nick doesn't quite smile - it looks like he's been eating alum - but it's a start. His voice is quiet, but it cuts through the background noise of the common room like a scalpel. "When we get home - if we have time before sunrise, anyway - we're going to have to talk. No bullshit, no holding back. Agreed?"

Ky looks up and nods, her turquoise eyes bright with unshed tears.
