Raina watches as Star speaks briefly to Inari and then heads over to Ky. Nick pulls up a chair for her and Star sits next to Ky. Heads together, Raina lets them speak for a few minutes before she heads over.
As she grabs a chair she hears Star tell Ky, “Your leg needs to heal. We will need you when the baby comes, if all this is true... about the prophecy...”
Ky nods. “All right. It has to be healed by then. And Rowan will just have to work some magic to make sure.”
Raina smiles, relieved that the anger that had so quickly boiled over seems to have dissipated, at least for the moment.
Laila comes behind Star and wraps her arms around her shoulders. “You look so tired. We can go check on the little ones until Erik is ready to go...”
Star smiles and stands, “Yes, lets do that.” She links arms with Laila but turns and looks at Ky. “Thank you K'ythri...”
“What for? I cant do a damn thing..”
“For your loyalty. Thats more important than the fighting.” and Star walks away, arm in arm with Laila.
The group at the table is silent at first, then Ky lets out a long breath. “She puts us all to shame, I swear.”
