Okay, talk about a rock and a hard place…!
I'm an experienced warrior. They need people like me to head up the teams… but Star needs me, too, especially if the baby might come early.
They never covered things like this when they were teaching me to be a warrior - no, nor later, in all the engagements I fought in. They always told us we were fighting to keep our wives and children safe - and surely that's true here and now. But how can I keep her safe if I'm out there and no one is back here to protect her?
