The sword back in her hands, the Wyldfae still looks a little stunned. Twillon steps around the group and clasps arms with Keon. He leans close.
"How were you received?"
"The Queen and Herne see things our way. No word was spoken to them of Lady Star. Our House will keep her secret"
Keon smiles slightly, keeping his voice soft so to be unheard. He notices the twitch to the Wyldfae's ears. He knows she has heard him. He expected it.
Turning to the Wyldfae he bows from the neck, watching her carefully. "Lord Twillon, you have traveled with three very beautiful, and fierce, women. I pray they kept you safe?"
"Safe indeed, Lord Blackthorn. Ambassador Inari and her friend are a joy with whom to ride. My Lady Weebit has questions on Court healers, at your leisure of course."
Keon's hand slides along the back of Cassie's neck, thumb caressing lightly. He glides past her, putting himself where he can safely draw if needed. A tuft of green dives from the rafters and Twillon thrusts out his arm, bracing as it catches its balance. Keon's blade is an inch out before he is even aware of the motion.
Twillon laughs at the startled faces. "Easy Tork. Weebit is not in danger here."
Weebit peeks out of Twillon's blonde mane, reaching to scratch the fernlike mane of her new mount. The dragon hisses, a slow rumble vibrating its chest.
Keon laughs. "Weebit, where did you get that creature?"
Wrapping her arms around the dragon's neck, she looks up at Keon. The creature lowers its head, staring up at Keon. He leans closer to them and whispers loudly. "I hope he is house trained... Pandora won't like it if he fertilizes the soup."
