Tara started to fuss when the group heard all the commotion downstairs. But when it became quieter she really started to cry and flail her little arms.
Alise couldnt console her no matter what she tried. She finally sat with her in a quiet corner of the room, held her close and whispered, “Tara, show maman. I dont know whats wrong.” Alise opened her mind and let Tara feel how much she was loved and how much Alise wanted to know what was wrong, what had made her cry.
Suddenly, an image of Cassie appears in Alises mind. “Oh. Are you worried about Cassie? Are you afraid something is wrong?”
Tara stops crying and looks up at her mother, her violet eyes huge and wet from crying.
Star hears someone coming up the steps and jumps up. “I can go see whats going on.”
She opens the door a crack and peeks out. She sees Guunnar carry Cassie to Keons room, Keon and Rowan close behind.
“Cassie is hurt. I will go talk to Rowan...”
Blocking her thoughts from all but Stoney Alise asks him, *Comment Tara a-t-il su cela ?
*How did Tara know that?
