"Ah Chaton, you gift me again so soon?"
Tilting her head back, Stoney kisses her gently.
"Je taime, mon Alli. You are making me a very rich man, very quickly." He strokes her cheek with the backs of his fingers. "It also explains why you are so tired. Not that having twins is any less tiring."
Easing behind her, he gathers her close. Watching their little ones play with sunbeams, Stoney sighs, a content sound, but still contemplative.
Alise looks at him, one brow raised. "Re'mi?"
He bites his lip, long strands of hair fall across his face. "I remember your Maman... she had a nanny that helped her with you and your siblings. Perhaps... and don't Now Re'mi me... perhaps it would be... maybe... we should look into one?"
Her laugh is not quite what Stoney expects. "Chaton? It isn't a silly idea, and I have no intentions of asking any of my family to come help. Much as I love A'eule, I am not asking her to," Alise puts a hand over Stoney's mouth. He sighs, looking at her mutely.
"If you will please shut up, mon amour... Rowan suggested the same thing. I agree on one condition. She must be old and ugly." She slowly takes her hand away and Stoney grins.
"Have you seen Brownies? They have almost no features, but I hear they make fantastic nannies. We could talk to Keon next time we see him. Or ask Silk to ask about."
