While Raina and Erik were arguing about the girl with Rath, Star watches silently as Herne enters and speaks with the Riders. She had heard stories about Herne, usually bad ones. Tales to frighten disobedient children into behaving. His hounds were huge, and attracted Star's attention as soon as they entered. Curiosity getting the better of her, she settles Lobo under her chair and tells her to stay. She moves slowly towards the riders, working her way closer and staying in the shadows.

As Star moves behind the riders and out of the dim light Trooper leaves Jeb's side at the door. He is by Stars side in seconds, sensing her curiosity. She reaches over and absently scratches an ear. Most would think the hounds hideous, but Star didnt. She had a natural empathy for all creatures, even the ones some would consider evil.

As she edges closer the other hounds watch her intently, unsure of her. Trooper takes a step in front of Star and huffs at the other hounds in warning. He knows if they growl or take a stance Star would be frightened and it isnt her intent to challenge them in any way.

The hounds behavior catches Hernes attention and he turns in Stars direction. He sees the small fae standing barely out of the shadows, her silver hair bright in the dim light. Trooper is almost guarding her and when he sits next to her they are almost the same height.

“Who is this? Keon, friend or foe? Isnt that your hound protecting her?”

Star isnt afraid, just curious. He looks like a man except for the eyes and antlers... And not as scary as some of the stories... Her eyes change colors, confused at first and then just curious they go from orange to yellow and back again, finally settling on yellow. But when Herne speaks they change to grey, worried that she has done something wrong.
