When Raina heard they were testing Nicks blood for poison, she started to pace. It was pace the halls or slam her fist into one and she didnt think Pandora would be too happy with her if she did that. Who would want to poison Nick? The guy was already dead. Whoever did this wanted him to suffer and suffer horribly.

The tears start again and she reaches for her phone. She isnt sure what time it is but it has to be late in the day. She hadnt wanted to call Erik earlier but she needed her brother.

When she hears his sleepy 'hello' she almost hangs up. But the sobbing starts again and all she can get out is 'Nick, its Nick'. She hears her brother say “We'll be right there' and she hangs up. Raina slides down the wall and sits on the floor, sobbing her heart out. Gareth sits near, not sure what to do for her, worried sick about Nick too.

When Erik and Star arrive this where they find her. Star sees her first and runs to her. She kneels on the floor and wraps her arms around the heaving shoulders, and cradles her head like a child's.

“Sshh..Raina....it will b..be all right.”

Erik looks down at the two most important people in his life and isnt sure what to do. He bends down and Star lets go of Raina as Erik lifts Raina to her feet. He pushes the hair out of her face and wipes her face with his hand. “Talk to me, sis. Whats going on?” Raina tries to explain but between the crying and no sleep she isnt making a lot of sense. Gareth steps forward and fills in the gaps so that Erik knows as much as the rest of them.

Erik looks around wondering where Star went and notices the door to Nicks room is open and it wasnt when they first came upstairs.

“Oh shit. She did not just go in there alone...” and Erik heads for Nicks room as Rowan is coming up the stairs. They both enter the bedroom at the same time and see Star standing at the foot of the bed in an almost trance-like state. Her face is blank, her eyes dark and unseeing. She keeps repeating, “The blood of the first people, the blood of the first people...”

As soon as Erik grabs her, she snaps out of it. “What did you mean by that?”

“Ww..what? What are you talking about?”

Rowan interrupts, “Star if there is any chance you might be pregnant, you cant be in here. We dont know for sure what this is yet.”

“But I want to help...”

“Not this time sweetie. Not until Mortuis confirms if its poison or something else.” Rowan goes to the bathroom and gets several towels. She soaks them in cold water and tries to place them on Nick but he thrashes and reaches out to grab her when she gets too close.

Raina grabs the towels, “Let me do it. He wont hurt me..”

Erik takes Star outside. She looks angry but Erik is adamant, if Rowan says no, it means no. Gareth is holding the wolf pup, Star wouldnt leave her behind, not knowing how long they would be gone. She takes the pup in her arms and cries silently into the soft silver gray fur.
