Traeger looks at the boxes he stored in the spare room....he thought he wouldn't broach the subject of looking through them so soon; but he didn't know Rowan then. He thought to just be sitting in the backround of life when he returned to find Pandora; but life has a way of surprising you.

Rowan is such a vivacious and intelligent woman... her life is vested in the same pagan principles he lives by; and he soon found himself in love with her. He knows with his heart they will not marry, she could never tear herself from being the healer she is to devote her time entirely to him. He also knows that there is a strong and loving bond between them... that when they are together; when they make love... the moments are precious and the feelings real and true. At this age in life it suits them both to just know they have each other to turn to... words and bonds of marriage are for the rest of the world.

Knowing her devotion to her craft he decided to look for the notes his wife and he had so meticulously taken when they studied with the druids in Wales and Ireland. There were many herbal remedies she might be able to utilize in her practice... and a few new plants she might not be aware had properties of use.

Time flew as he delved through all the memories; and his heart was pained by some of the remembered times he and his wife had shared. He found the needed notebooks... neatly written in his deceased wife's beautiful handwriting, so much knowledge... it needed to be shared, not sit here in these boxes.

Traeger realized it was late; and he had not eaten... so he made his way over to the tavern. The place was jumping when he walked in, Ob was singing and doing a dance number on the floor... and many of the college kids had joined him.

"Hey Monty, how about one of those burger and fry baskets you'rw so proud of?"... Monty grinned and drew a draft beer for Traeger, knowing he favored the Irish blends with the strong malty taste. "I'll take it to the family table when its ready." Monty replied. Traeger saw Pandora with the others at the large table and made his way over, smiling down at the sleeping babes as he slid into a chair. "You girls look happy and content sitting here with your men just yards away." He gave them a smile as he hugged Pandy and turned to watch the show on stage.
