Inari is getting settled for the night when the messenger finds her. He lands on the horse's saddle she had leaned against a tree for the night. He bows, introduces himself and opens the rolled paper and reads the message to her.

“Response, Milady?”

“Yes. Please give a moment to think...” and Inari starts to pace.

A message from Gareth, sounds frantic. A poison he says he dare not mention by name, but I would need permission to carry the flower. That can only be Bloodbane. The Queen would never grant a dispensation for that... unless it was Star that needed it. And Gareth would have worded this differently if it were her. I felt the shift in the realms, she must have married. I wonder if Tychus felt it, more to discuss with my old teacher and friend... Inari shakes her head, no time for such thoughts. Bloodbane? Who would have gotten hold of that? And is there more being manufactured somewhere?

Inari sighs, Good thing the Queen approved my visit to T'ur a Fogh'laim before reporting to her, she wont be expecting me for awhile. I better go see just what is going on. And try to figure out who is taking Bloodbane from the Unformed Plane and into the human realm.

She turns to the messenger, “Please tell them I will leave immediately and should be there sometime just before sunrise. Have you received payment, Tryge?”

“Is promised on my return, milady.”

“Good. Safe journey to you then...”

Tryge's wings bring him face to face with Inari. “And to you milady.” and with a bow he is gone in the blink of an eye.

Inari's attention turns to her horse. She decides to give him a quick brush down before re-saddling him. “So much for a good nights sleep, old friend. A short rest will have to do.” The horse nickers softly and accepts a treat from Inari's hand.

As Inari packs up and saddles the horse she smiles grimly. With any luck its that redheaded bitch who is responsible for this. Then there will be no escape for her no matter what lies she tries to tell. She will be hunted in every realm there is....
