Traeger had eaten breakfast and set the boys to work and then went on his van quest. He was surprised to run into a perfect vehicle within the first hour. It was fairly new;in sound condition, and had been a college sports van... equipped with shelves and latched containers along one side for medicines and supplies; and it had a fold-down cot on the other side in case of emergencies. The back seats folded easily up and down... and it was a beautiful shade of mossy green that would please Rowan's forest sensibilities.

He was so sure that Ob and Stony would approve that he put some money down to hold it.

He had accomplished his task so rapidly that he decided to take a run out to Star's place; as he drew near he saw Rowan leaving up the road and counted his blessings... he didn't want to ruin the surprise.

Keon answered the door when he knocked, Mera in his arms,and gave him a rousing welcome.

Traeger didn't waste any time... "I'll get right to the point; I'm on a quest. Rowan as you know has been making do with a vehicle that is in dire need of retirement. I have found a good used van equipped with some medical equipment from the college that would do her a great job. Ob and Stoney will help me purchase it... but Rowan needs supplies as well."

Traeger looks to Star.."You have expressed a desire to do something with the money your mother left you;and I know Rowan needs supplies. You know better than anyone what is needed.Will you make a list and send one of the men to buy medical supplies? I know Rowan will have to handle any drug purchases herself; but she rarely uses things not of the natural path anyway. I know she could use jars and such for her salves and you probably know where she gets them."

Traeger watches Star's face light up at the idea... "Can you handle this for me, Star?"
