The house is dark when I get home. When I get to the room I share with K'thyri, the bed is empty, but it shows signs that it was occupied earlier. Worried, I check the bathroom, then do a quick check through the rest of the house.

At Raina's room I stop, seeing three familiar naked people sprawled out on the bed. I raise an eyebrow. I bet this'll be an interesting tale in the morning…. I grin and undress, then climb into bed, spooning against Raina's back. She turns and looks at me sleepily. "Be careful of Ky's leg," she says. "It was giving her trouble earlier." Then she yawns and fits herself against me. "G'nite, Gareth. Sleep well."

Even with my curiosity eating at me, it doesn't take long for me to compose myself for sleep, and I'm out like a light within fifteen minutes.
