Alise hears Tara fussing and slowly slips from her perch on Stoney. Picking up her little girl Alise cradles her and kisses her cheeks. Tomas is still sound asleep so Alise brings her to curl up between her papan's wings. Tara stops her fussing and sighs contentedly. Her violet eyes take in everything around her and when she sees Stoneys wings she squeals happily.

Alise laughs, She wants to see her papan.... they love you so Re'mi. As do I... and the new little one. We should take the twins to the tavern tonight. There is no band and they can meet Chloe.

Alise can feel that he is starting to change and picks up Tara. They sit on the bed and watch as Stoney returns to human form.

Tomas, sensing that his father is present, starts to howl, loudly demanding some attention. With a kiss to the two girls in his life Stoney turns and scoops up Tomas, “What is the problem little man? Mortuis can probably hear you clear across the Manse.” Tomas' cries turn to gurgles and he starts to frantically gnaw on a fist.

“Chaton, I think he needs his maman.” Stoney and Alise trade babies, and she settles on the couch to nurse Tomas.

Stoney gently cradles Tara, amazed by the tiny girl's beauty and how much she looks like her mother. Except for the hair color there was doubt as to whose daughter she was. His gaze wanders over his wife, holding his son, shirt open in the fire light. He glances lower, to her belly and his thoughts turn to the child there. Sarah... and his heart constricts, the pain of her last life still vivid in Stoneys mind..

Alise picks up on his thoughts and reaches a hand towards him and Tara. Come mon amour. Your Sarah will have a life of happiness and joy with us this time.

Stoney sits, one arm cradling Tara, the other around Alises shoulders, happy and content with his growing family.
