Guunnar smiles. "That ist Little Sister. Her name ist Star." he leans close. "The ears... they are as real as Keon's."
Grace looks up at the big man. "Keon?"
Guunnar nods towards a couple near the back.
"Those are the clubbers..." her voice fades away and she looks from the midnight hued Keon to the nearly white Star. "Is the blue woman a Faery too?"
Tori smiles. "Hmmm. Water nymph I think." She holds out her hand to Grace. "Let me introduce you to Star."
Star watches as Tori brings the old woman across the room.
"Star? I would like you to meet Grace. She owns the Gallery on the next block. grace, Star is a fantastic artist. You should see some of her work. So lifelike..."
The woman brightens. "Really? Beautiful, and talented? Would you be interested in letting me sell some of your art?" Grace puts her hand over her mouth. "I'm sorry... I can't stop looking at your ears... and your eyes are simply fascinating."
Tori laughs. "Grace, breathe! Here, sit down. Monty? Can I get some juice here?"
Monty looks at Star, then Rowan. At Rowan's nod, he pours a glass and sets it before the woman. Star smiles, leaning forward to let the woman touch her hair, then her ears. Mya touches Grace's cheek, tears filling her eyes.
"Human... you are not well?" "
Grace nods. "I have years yet. Tori promised to make some of my dreams possible. I never expected it to be this... You are such a lovely shade of purple." Grace sips her juice.
Star smiles, her eyes sparkling. They chat like old friends. Grace takes Star's hand in hers, talking to her about the Gallery. Her fingers slide over the silver band and she ooo's.
"This is lovely. Someone special?"
As Star tells Grace about Erik, her eyes fill with love, enchanting the older woman.
"You must love him very much..." Star nods. Grace tells of her own love, and how she would soon be joining him.
Rowan pulls Tori aside. "I am sorry Tori. Your friend has a very faded aura. She won't make seventy."
Tori nods. "She thinks she has years. How long do you think?"
Rowan sighs, looking at the woman with her inner sight.
"Less than a year."
