Cassie walks slowly into the tavern. Keon didnt say exactly what time she should meet him but she knew Ron and his friends would be there. She sees them sitting at a long table, playing some drinking game and she moves towards them to say hello. Ron looks up at her and whistles...”Wow, whats the occasion? You didnt get all dressed up to play quarters with us...”

Cassie laughs, “I am not dressed up. Just didnt feel like wearing jeans.”

“Yeah right. I believe you..” and Ron laughs.

Cassie had taken more time with her appearance, wanting to look nice for her date. She had put on a long paisley skirt, shades of grey, pink, lavender and green. Her tank top was a silvery grey, setting off her blue skin. She wore her dark blue hair down, pushing it behind her ears to show her new earrings. She wore the necklace too, wanting to show Keon how much she enjoyed the gift.

She sees Keon visiting with some friends so she sits with Ron for a minute. She has tried to keep in touch with him since the death of his friend. He rarely spoke of her but Cassie could tell when his thoughts would turn to her, he would reach up and take the pendant that he always wore in his hand. Her heart had gone out to him, he was always so nice to everyone and didnt deserve to have such a horrible thing happen.

Glancing again towards the table Keon is sitting at she sees a pretty little woman leave and go upstairs, Raina's brother following shortly behind her.


She seemed really annoyed with the guys. I wonder whats wrong?

She tells Ron she will talk to him later and heads towards Keons table. He and Guunnar are talking, heads close, voices quiet when she approaches.

“Hi! Am I interrupting anything?”
