Traeger watches Rowan approach him from across the room,and the DJ starts another song... something he thinks he can dance to, grinning he rises to meet her. "Is this our dance my lady?" seeing her smile he takes her in his arms and they swing out onto the floor... the dance song has a slow rhythm and they sway to the beat, comfortable together once the initial steps were taken.

"I haven't felt you stomp on my foot once yet"... Trager says, chuckling as he looks down into her face... her brown eyes like velvet tonight as she returns his look. He sees trust in her glance... a sense of comfort, perhaps because she doesn't feel pressured... she initiated the dance, and he lets her keep control.

The dance ends and they stand briefly when another starts... "Up to another?"... Traeger whispers,and at her nod he takes her in his arms again... the dance is slower, and he holds her a little closer... waiting for her to tense up, telling him he's gone too far... but she relaxes into his arms and they dance with their heads together. They enjoy the moment... the tranquility of abandoning themselves to the music... no need to make small talk; their bodies enjoy the warmth of the others' body... their minds perhaps turned to other places at other times....

Finally the music stops,the couple realize it stopped a minute before... they were both absorbed and hadn't noticed. They glance at each other and laugh... "I'll escort you to your table, perhaps I may share a drink with you and get to know Star a little better." Traeger says as he keeps his hand in the small of her back in a protective gesture as he escorts her back to her table... as they approach he glances at Star, thinking to himself that her face; although beautiful, also holds the scared look of a little girl lost... quite a contrast to Raina's confident look as they approach....
