Traeger watches Rowan return to Star and his heart goes out to her... she had no way of knowing all that happened to the poor child. She has been a true friend to the girl since she first found her,and he knows Star is grateful. Stoney's seeking her out means the babies will soon arrive... and he sighs as he realizes they will probably not have any more time alone until after the big day.
He decides to use the time to work on Chloe's cradle... now that he knows his grandchild is a girl, he plans to engrave flowering vines and flowers on the headboard and footboard. Some of this can be done now before the pieces are put together, he thinks about what chisels and other woodworking tools he has at hand. Plan in mind he goes back in the tavern, he thinks Rowan may need some TLC before she leaves for the night.
