Late in the night Star wakes up and looks around her. Raina is dozing in a chair near the door and Erik is asleep on the floor. Panther is half on the loveseat with Star and halfway hanging off onto the floor. She pets the big cat and buries her face in the black fur.

As Star looks around, she starts to remember talking to Erik. She watches him sleep, curled up on his side, his head resting on an arm. He doesnt look very comfortable on the floor. But he is still here, he didnt leave. He stayed here with me....And Raina stayed too... they both know and are still here.

Star sits up and moving to the floor next to Erik brings the pillow and the blanket with her. She lays the pillow down and tries to move Eriks head on it. She finally gives up, afraid of waking him. She pushes the pillow right next to his head and covering them both with the blanket she curls up next to him. Erik protectively puts an arm around her pulling her close. Star is soon asleep, feeling safe where she is.

Raina has been watching, keeping her eyes half closed, worried that Star may try to leave. Raina has to bite her tongue to keep from smiling when Star moves to the floor next to Erik. As soon as his arm went around her, Raina knew Erik was awake and their eyes meet across the room. With a smile Raina closes her eyes and goes back to sleep.
