Raina comes back to sit with Nick and me. I lean over to Raina. "The changeling - she have a name?"
"We don't know for sure. Rowan calls her Star, and she seems to answer to it okay." She smirks. "What, big brother has a crush?"
I surprise myself. "You may not be that far off, sis." I meet Nick's empty eyes, then look back to Raina. "If I'm out of line, I apologize - but just what kind of relationship do you guys have? I don't want to assume the wrong thing…."
