Star looks at Keon and shakes her head. She watches as Keon says farewell and closes the spell.

Looking to her her husband she asks, “Can you call Alise? She had a small tub that she used when the twins were smaller. She wont mind if we use hers until we get one of our own.”

Turning to Keon she adds, “I can give her a bath as soon as she wakes up. She isnt sleeping through the nights yet.”

Only a few minutes pass when there is a knock on the door. Erik opens the door just as Stoney is folding his wings and resuming human form. He has the small plastic tub in one hand, the other is wrapped around a very happy and squealing Tomas.

“He wanted to come along. I hope you dont mind...”

Star reaches for him and nuzzles Tomas' neck, making him giggle and squeal even louder. “Why would we mind?”

Tomas is happy to see Star until his gaze lands on Wolf and Lobo. He starts to wiggle and squirm, wanting down to play. Star sits him on a rug near the wolves and Lobo starts to poke at him with her nose, causing even more peals of laughter from the little boy.

Stoney pulls out a package from the tub and hands it to Keon. “Alise asked me to give this to you. Its for Mera...”

Erik fills Stoney in on the news that they will be fostering Mera while Keon unties the ribbon on the package. Inside are two soft flannel blankets and two nightgowns. The embroidery is exquisite, the swirls of aquamarine and blues gracing the hem of the nightgowns and the corners of the blankets. A pink starfish here and there looks to be floating in the water and makes Keon smile.

“Give Alise my humble thanks. Her talent with a needle is incredible ..” Keon is at a loss for words. He never expected such loyalty and acceptance from everyone.

“She wanted Mera to have a few things of her own. I dont know how she does it with two of her fingers that still dont bend as they should. She is already working on something for the new baby.”

Star smiles, “She will be with you soon, this new one. I hope Alise sews fast...”

“How do you....” but Eriks question is silenced by Stars rolling her eyes and shaking her head.
