Back at the Manse, I let the others make my farewells for me. He's an honorable man, but something about him has always rubbed me the wrong way, and probably always will. I give Silk a mock-lecherous wink and she gives me one of those smiles in return. Tink hovers in front of me and drops her top. I smile appreciatively and she grins, spins in mid-air and moons me. I run a fingertip over her round little ass and she squeals, giggles and darts away on a glittering trail of pixie dust.

I turn to look at Gareth, then K'thyri and Raina, who are riding double on Horse. I grin. "Home, James!"

I watch as Raina visibly relaxes for the first time in days, her arms clasped loosely about Ky. I give them a few minutes, then take to the sky.

Raina's maybe still a bit woozy from the drugs, but it eventually dawns on her that we're going the wrong way. She says something to Gareth - I can't hear it, being up too high - and he only grins and pushes Gwydion to go faster. Ky turns it into a race, and after that, Raina is too busy trying to hang on to notice much at all. It's only when they stop at the Lodge that she figures it out.

I land and watch while her eyes get bigger and bigger. I think this may be the first time I've seen her this off-balance; and when I get close enough, I make it worse by unfolding the deed and sticking it under her nose.

"This is ours?"

"All ours." I smile. "So tell me, gorgeous - ready to live happily ever after?"

In the next instant, I'm hit full-force by a jet-propelled flying Raina. She throws herself into my arms with a scream of "Yes!" and suddenly I'm having trouble finding the door… or even walking….
