Raina peeks in and Alise waves her in. Raina enters quietly and sits next to Alise asking, “How are you doing? You look so tired. Was it as bad as you thought it would be?

Smiling Alise says, “It was bad for a little while. I didnt think the first baby was ever coming out. I am tired, but too excited to sleep I think. Thank you for being here.”

“You dont have to thank me. All I did was rub your back.” Raina looks over to where Rowan and Star are checking the babies. “Do these new arrivals have names? We cant keep calling them baby.”

Stoney and Alise share a look that has Raina asking, “What?”

Smiling Alise tells her, “Our sons name is Tomas. After the altar boy that used to sneak me out of church and to the cemetery to see Stoney. I hate to think of what the priests would have done to him had we been caught. And our daughter, we want to name her Tara, if you dont mind us calling her after your sister.”

Raina is unabe to say anything, tears choking her voice, she nods her head and kisses Alise on the cheek with a barely audible 'thank you.'

“Please dont cry, we wanted to honor you and your sister. You are part of our family, your brother too. When she is older you can tell her all about your sister so in some small way she lives on with us.”

Nodding Raina hugs Alise and leans over her to Stoney, kissing his cheek and hugging him too. “I love you guys. Erik will want to see her, and Tomas too.. I'll let you rest. I am sure Ob wants to see the little ones.”

As Raina leaves the room she glances back at Alise, Stoneys arms around her and Star handing Tomas to them. Rowan was still busy with Tara, but Raina pauses and touches a tiny finger before she leaves the room. She smiles as the violet eyes turn towards her... Tara, my sister, I hope you can see this, she is beautiful, like you ...


As Raina walks out of the room she swears she can hear her sisters happy laughter....
