Back at the cottage, Alise starts the bath and takes off her clothes. She cant help but look at herself in the large, floor length mirror. She runs her hands over her belly, wondering about the babies and when they will arrive.
Stoney comes up behind her and his hands join hers, “You are beautiful mon amour...”
Alise makes a face and laughs, “I dont know Chiot. I will be glad when they are here and I can make love to my husband and not feel like a whale.” She moves his hand over to the bump she had felt earlier. “Star says this is an elbow and I wish this baby would keep it out of my ribs. They are running out of room in there I think...”
Stoney laughs with her and leads her to the tub. They spend some time relaxing and taking their time with their pleasure, enjoying this private time together.
Much later, when Stoney rises from their bed and tells her its almost sunrise Alise asks if she is too big to lay on his wings and sleep.
“Of course you can lay there, you are not so big as you think..But isnt the bed more comfortable now?”
Shaking her head Alise says, “No, it is hard to get comfortable and my back really hurts. If I could be on my side but raised up a bit, it would be better.”
Stoney nods and pulls her into his arms for a hug and kiss. He goes to stone for the day and tries to get in a position that Alise would find comfortable in her rest. She grabs a blanket off the bed and curls up in his wings and is soon asleep.
