Alise smiles, knowing that Raina just needed to talk to her brother about the sister they had both lost. He was the only family she had and she had been carrying the guilt and shame a long time. There seemed to be something different between her and Nick too, but Alise didnt bring it up, maybe she would ask the next time Raina came to the cottage.
She reaches down to pet Panther eliciting a loud purr from the large cat. As she leans back up her face shows the pain that movement caused her and she gasps. “Oohh, I hate this, the back pain....I wish these babies would decide it is time...”
Stoney starts to rub her back the way Rowan had shown him and Alise sighs, sending her thoughts to him.. What would I do without you Chiot? I think my back will break before these babies come. Mon amour, I need to ask you something....we havent spoken of names for the little ones but ….if the babies are girls, can we name one of them after Rainas sister? It would mean so much to her and it is a beautiful name...
