After Alise and Stoney leave, Rowan moves over to sit with Star. Erik is talking to his sister and Nick and the tavern crowd is starting to thin. Rowan thinks that Star looks agitated or lost in thought and leans close quietly asking her if anything is wrong.
Star wrinkles her forehead, then shakes her head. After a few seconds she touches Rowans arm to get her attention and points to her lips.
“Is there something wrong with your lips? They look all right...”
Star shakes her head and looks around at the couples sitting together in different spots. She sighs and points to Rowans lips and slightly puckers her own.
Laughing, Rowan says, “I am so confused sweetie. I am pretty sure you dont want me to kiss you on the lips but I dont know what else you mean.”
Glancing at Erik, Star starts to blush, not sure how to ask what she wants to know.
Rowan see the glance and asks, “When you were outside, did he kiss you?”
Star lowers her head and shakes it.
Rowan asks, “Well...did he try to kiss you?”
Again, Star shakes her head. She leans close to Rowan and whispers, “Ww...what dddoes it feel like?”
“Ooohh...so you want him to kiss you?”
Star shrugs her shoulders slightly and turns redder yet...
“Its okay to want a man to kiss you. You dont have to be embarrassed. But to answer your question, I dont really know how to explain it. It feels amazing and its something you just have to experience for yourself. I dont think you have to worry. He cant seem to take his eyes off you when you are here.”
Star gasps and starts to giggle at Rowan, shaking her head at the teasing.
Nick smiles at the girls teasing and tries to concentrate on what Raina is saying. At least now he can reassure her that the little fae was just as interested in her brother as he was in her.
